Honeymoon Destinations

Today, many couples seek lower-cost locations for their honeymoon, and that weddings have become very expensive, and since the economy is in recession. What many people do not realize is that the United States offers a wealth of options for those wishing to stay in the country. States like California and Florida are home to cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, Napa, Miami, Tampa, and islands such as Key West, Key Largo, and Marco Island. For example, New Hampshire real estate and real estate Vermont has seen a large increase in the number of people that are renting houses in the area for their honeymoon. Below is a list of cities in the U.S. than are great for newlyweds:

1. There are plenty of cities in California that make for a nice honeymoon. Napa Valley, would be an excellent option because there is plenty to do and is a very relaxed atmosphere. In Napa, you can find very nice bed and breakfasts that are much less expensive than staying in a hotel. In addition, San Diego is a great place to go also. The zoo is world famous and there are many water activities in which the newlyweds can participate. Another good thing about San Diego is hot all year long, so do not worry too much about coordinating his wedding and honeymoon.

2. Similar to of California, there are many cities that are great for a honeymoon in Florida. Miami, of course, is a great place to go because it is warm all year and there much to do and see. There are many great beaches too. Florida is also home to Key West and Marco Island, both of which are places of wonderful honeymoon. All these places also have a very relaxed atmosphere. The good thing about going to an island in the U.S. is that there will be a language barrier, so that when ordering food or if there is an emergency, you should have no problem whatsoever.

3. The northeastern United States is also very beautiful and a destination of great honeymoon. There are plenty of people picturesque with lots of family-owned bed and breakfast, which are usually much cheaper than a hotel. The good thing about this is that because the area is relatively small, so you can go to different states and see a bunch of sites. If you stay outside the major cities, tourist site in Boston would make for a great day or two-day visit. This is a good place to visit in spring or summer, possibly in early fall. As a general warning, it may be best to stay away of this area in winter, simply because of the snow storms that usually occur during the winter months.

Many U.S. cities good offer, proof of recession honeymoon destinations. A growing number of people have discovered that the U.S. places can be so surprising, if not better than the honeymoon destinations outside the country. However, with proper planning, the location of any couple chooses will be perfect, provided that maximize the place you choose!
